Position Overview:
- We are seeking a highly motivated Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team as part of our Statutory Audit practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen interest in developing expertise in statutory audit procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing statutory audit engagements in compliance with regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
- Conduct substantive testing and analytical review procedures to evaluate the accuracy of financial statements and disclosures.
- Perform risk assessments and identify areas of audit focus, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of audit procedures.
- Document audit findings, including any control deficiencies or significant issues, and propose recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to complete audit assignments within established timelines and budgets.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather relevant information and address audit queries in a professional manner.
- Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends to enhance audit quality and technical knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent certification.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Prior internship or work experience in auditing or accounting is preferred but not required.
