Sr Manager – Service Desk, IT operations

About this Team:

ProcOps Monitoring consists of recognizing abnormal processing conditions of FIS Connex processes and systems, customer host processing links (host processing performance such as denial rates and network connectivity), FIS Authorization Processors, connectivity to other product area such as (fraud products) Falcon, Fraud Navigator, OnDot and VISA API.

What you will be doing :

  • Monitoring hub for tandem device support for switches, processors, bank transactions and POS debit/credit for Banks and Credit Unions.
  • Monitors FIS' EFT switches’ financial transaction interchange
  • Notifies clients via email/phone call for host issues.
  • Coordinates with internal FIS teams on client processor link outages, network related issues and scheduled production changes.
  • Assists in project/incident calls affecting monitored EFT host connections.
  • Incident ticket creation and tracking
  • Responds to emails and call-originated requests including host status, host stop/start, Turning on audits.
  • Lead the Technical Operations departments

What you bring :

  • Must have at least 12+ years of experience in the direct management or supervision of over 10 technical staff including engineers.
  • 10+ years’ experience in technical operations or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes. ITIL V3/V4 certification are preferred
  • Must have relevant experience as a People Manager - being able to motivate & develop a formidable team environment through collaborative and constructive Leadership
  • Experience in leading operations support team to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot issues.
  • As an expert people manager, you will be tasked to for attracting, developing, and retaining talent to build and maintain an effective team.
  • Ready to work night shift (24/7)

  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
  • Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
  • Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
