Role Requirement
Position/Grade: Project Manager

Education: Degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent experience (Electronics & Telecommunications)
Experience: 12 - 15 years of experience in Routing & Switching / Core IP Network Domain in service Provider environment
Relevant experience

• 12 - 15 years of experience in Routing & Switching / Core IP Network Domain in service Provider environment
• Should have very good understanding primarily on Cisco Switches & Routers and possess good understanding of Cisco ASR and NCS series routers and its applications.
• Should have good knowledge on project management, team management & customer management.
• Should have strong presentation skills.
• Experience in planning, designing, building, and implementing Network platform and infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of GRE, MPLS VPNs and QoS is must
• Understanding of migration of circuits at routing and services level is must
• Understanding of migration procedures and experience of circuit migration n at IP level will be added advantage
• Good understanding of Planned event procedures.
• Must have ability to work in provided outage window on production network is must
• Must have very good working experience in Configuration / Provisioning / Build of complex IP networks for in Telecom Provider environment with hands on experience in Cisco
• Experience in L1/L2 IP NOC environment will be added advantage
• Must have completed either CCNA or CCNP/CCIP Certification
• Good verbal /written Skills
• Automating network configuration tasks using Python, scripting will be an asset

• Customer management experience, across geographies, understanding of various cultures

• Review escalations to support the service assurance during network failure situations.
• Define resolution mechanism to prevent recurrence of escalations
• Remotely support field tech to swap/upgrade router or switch in field
  

• IP MPLS and GRE Tunnels
• Transport (DWDM/CWDM)
• Fiber backhaul connectivity for IP/MPLS networks (Dark Fiber)

• Should possess very good verbal and written communications skills
• Ready to work in 24.7 rotational shifts or continuous night shifts depending on business need
• A good team Leader, Customer friendly
• Readiness to work during week ends
