Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sourcing Specialist to spearhead the sourcing efforts for a diverse range of Agro waste Biomass fuels. This includes, but is not limited to, Paddy/Rice Husk, Rice Straw, Wood Chips, Cotton Stalks, Mustard Husk, Soybean Husk, Tilly Husk, Sunflower stalks, Coconut Waste & Husk, Sugarcane Trash/leaves, Bagasse & Trash, Groundnut shell, Saw Dust, Coffee Husk, Tamarind Shell & Husk, Coffee Spent, Mango Seeds, Guava Seeds, Julie Flora wood & wood Chips, Mixed wood, Eucalyptus wood chips, All Biomass Briquettes, Agro waste Pellets, especially sludge, Paper pulp, and all farm-related waste.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Supply Chain Management:
- Provide strategic direction for quantity arrangements, quality arrangements, Supply Chain, and local logistics management for sourcing, local logistics, and supply chain of all agro waste biomass & biofuels, including Biomass Briquette & Pellets.
Vendor & Seller Development:
- Develop innovative solutions and design a robust Vendor & Sellers development and local logistics support model.
- Conduct Biomass Mapping across States, Districts & Talukas.
- Conduct surveys of Biomass Briquette & Pellets in Punjab, Delhi NCR, UP & Bihar.
- Assess the willingness of Biomass generators to supply and biofuel manufacturers to sell Biomass Briquette & Pellets.
- Optimize procurement costs, transportation modes, and the availability of Biomass Briquette & Pellets.
- Ensure timely procurement, local support, safety, and security.
Fuel Supply Chain Leadership:
- Align inventory targets with organizational objectives.
- Evaluate seller performance in terms of deliveries, availability, and price & quality.
- Lead the entire Fuel Supply Chain Function to achieve Delivery Rating Targets.
- Successfully implement cost-effective fuel within the budgeted price while maintaining superior quality & sourcing.
- Oversee data management & daily MIS.
Skills & Experience (1-2 Years):
- Bachelor's degree with substantial experience in sourcing Biomass.
- Strong network with biomass generators, Briquette & Pellets Manufacturers, companies, and traders across Punjab, Delhi NCR, UP & Bihar.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Remark:
Demonstrated hands-on and leadership experience across a range of Materials functions, including Material Procurement at cost-effective prices, Inventory Management, seasonal fuel availability, Forecasting, Supply chain Management, Vendor Development, Fuel Quality, Monthly Audits and Transportation, Monthly MIS, and Fuel Mapping across the region, with a diverse group of suppliers, sellers, and service providers.
