Position:Software Engineer II, Test Lead - VeevaLocation: Hyderabad, India

Veeva Lead role is a member of the Veeva platform team and is accountable for managing the Veeva Automation Testing for projects. In this role, the individual is primarily responsible for supporting the Automation testing activities for platform updates, enhancements and/or end-user support & access management activities including Architecture and design for Veeva projects.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage testing services demand and portfolio of projects and programs.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation test scripts.
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects, errors, and inconsistencies in software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Report metrics of projects to stakeholders and management
  • Act as a project manager for various Veeva projects
  • Develop and maintain testing standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
  • Train and mentor team members on testing best practices and tools
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Veeva Drug Dev & Quality Cloud team to obtain high level overview knowledge of the Veeva vault platform and various vault applications.
  • Assist in the deployment of the Veeva Vault implementation including documentation and testing.
  • Contribute to all aspects of testing activities (unit, system, and/or user acceptance testing) of the vault project implementation including script generation, execution, review, and approval.
  • Work closely with software developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
  • Communicate obstacles internally and externally to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and timeline disruption.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Testing, IT QA or related.
  • Experience in managing teams onshore and offshore.
  • Experience in reporting metrics of projects
  • Experience in acting as a project manager for different enterprise and R&D projects.
  • Experience in testing tools like ALM, Jira, WorkSoft, and Neoload
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
