What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. The Development Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, set strategic goals, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Develop and implement development strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Software Development.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring the use of best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
- Versus in Agile and scrum development processes
- Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload and optimizing team performance.
- Work with HR to recruit, train, and retain top-tier development talent.
- Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Foster open communication within the development team and with other departments.
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience working as a Development Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Software Development methodologies, coding languages, and tools.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Expertise in PHP, GO, JS, and other web platforms is an asset.

- Strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices, SQL, and back-end concepts.
- Ability to thrive in a global fast-paced and deadline driven environment with frequently changing priorities.
- Ability to work in both a self-directed and team environment to meet project goals and deliver results.
