CFD and Performance team is looking for a team member to work at CAT India with experience in engine performance and analytics development. The engineer will work closely with the team members to resolve product engineering & business problems. This position requires working knowledge to develop a full-stack web interface for inhouse software that is used to analyze, predict, and guarantee the performance and emissions of the company's current and future product line. In addition the engineer will be working closely with product team to develop Aftermarket solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors / master’s in mechanical /aerospace engineering
- Knowledge of engines or gas turbines and their control and operation
- 10+ years of programming experience
- Experience in engine technology, engine control systems or engine performance development
- Neural networks and other machine learning algorithms
- Strong background in Object-Oriented programming
- The ability to write and communicate ideas and issues clearly.
- Personal skills include the ability to work well with others and team spirit.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in using Matlab and Python
- Applied experience in developing engineering applications in C, C++, C# is required.
- Additionally, FORTRAN, and Excel VBA development experience would be preferred.
- Full Stack Web Development with the latest web technologies
