• The Senior Technician>for Cytiva is responsible for The internal support Technician for Biopharmaceutical engineering support is responsible to organize the workshop, carry out the final assembly of the equipment to be tested in the workshop and to support for installation, commissioning and instrumentation of filtration systems not only for FAT but also at customer premises. Support of the engineering team during FAT and SAT for instrumentation and mechanical/electrical related activities including documentation. This position is part of the Engineering Departmentt located in Pune and will be indicate whether position is On -Site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

·Commissioning and inspection/testing of standard systems

·Support during FAT activities in case related to mechanical installation

·Work in progress supervision inspections at the mechanical manufacturer of filtration and separation systems / skids.

·Support wiring / instrument air tubing and the installation of junction boxes, including installation of cable ducts and related mechanical work required on frame and support construction

·Mechanical disassembly of equipment and preparation for transport to the customer

·Supervision of equipment installation at customer sites and support of SAT activities related to mechanical installation and alsosupport to service teamfor services related to mechanical work

Organization of tools, equipment and parts necessary to install, prepare, repair and test machinery and systems / skids.

The essential requirements of the job include:

·Minimum 10 years of experience as mechanic or fitter in stainless steel handling company

·Experience in the preferably pharma/biotech industry or alternatively in the food/beverage/cosmetics industry

·Understanding of mechanical engineering and machining of stainless steel material

·Knowledge in liquid handling systems incl. vessels, pumps, filters, valves, armatures, measuring instruments, etc

Knowledge about GDP and GMP rules, stainless steel components and instruments as well as single use equipment (plastic material).
