JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Solutions Engineer (Remote, US working Hours)

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Solutions Engineer, Remote opportunity, US Working Hours only. In this role, you will lead new POC/Trial customers through initial implementation, ensuring the customer’s backups are configured accurately. You will Work as a technical liaison between SRE/SRO, Customer Success, and all other partners to complete necessary business tasks for proper new customer onboarding.

What you’ll do…

• Provide advanced level of customer service to new Metallic customers to ensure optimal onboarding experience.
• Partner with Customer Success and Metallic Support to be a key technical contact for first two weeks during onboarding time, which will consist of Zoom/Teams calls and scheduled follow up meetings as needed.
• Provide pre-sales support to sales team as necessary.
• Provides best-practice training to new and current Metallic customers while partnering with Customer Success.
• Work as a feature lead for different options that Metallic offers.
• Partner with the Product Management and Development/Engineering team to provide necessary inputs from a customer’s point of view while a new feature is being designed and developed.

Who you are…

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of working experience in the development and integration of solutions applying SaaS/PaaS based Customer Data Management platforms.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS or GCP (Azure Preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a customer-focused role such as presales, product design, professional services, technical account management or technical support.
• Strong knowledge on backup and recovery products (Commvault preferred).
• Experience in developing high-level technology architecture design of current and future state solution based on business requirements and value propositions.
• Ability to identify problems by parsing logs, use log monitoring tools and solve issues and provide workarounds on the fly.
• Solid understanding of HTML / CSS / JavaScript, XML, JSON and interacting with APIs.
• Work with engineering, product management to identify workarounds or solutions and deliver to the customer in a timely manner.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or JIRA, Microsoft Office suite.
• Engage with various collaborators and executive leadership.
• Ability to work with employees and customers at all levels.
• Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.
