Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in software testing and Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. This position will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality of our software products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and user experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.
2. Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.
3. Identify and remedy defects within the production process.
4. Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that Quality Assurance standards are achieved.
5. Compile and analyse statistical data.
6. Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process.
7. Draft Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
8. Investigate customer complaints and product issues.
9. Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
5. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
6. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
7. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
8. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
