Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for our POS Solutions POS Solutions business unit who will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of our Point of Sale (POS) devices. As the product owner, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle from hardware research, identification, integration, certification and go-to-market and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes. You will be responsible for mapping established and innovative use cases to device capabilities, tracking competitors' offerings, and meeting with OEMs to influence their roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the hardware product strategy for POS devices, including defining use cases, product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
- Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Identify and prioritize customer needs and work with engineering teams to define product requirements.
- Work with designers and engineers to ensure that the device capabilities meet the needs of the targeted use cases.
- Define and track key performance indicators for the product, including product adoption, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches.
- Build relationships with OEM partners and attend industry events (eg. trade shows, conferences, etc) to influence their product roadmaps to align with our product strategy.
- Working with supply chain on proposed device viability from a pricing, compliance and serviceability perspective
- Define pricing strategy and pricing models for the product.
You will be a good fit for this role if you have the following skillset :
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, electrical engineering, other engineering branches, hardware design) ; MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in product management, experience with Point of Sale devices preferred
- Experience developing and executing product strategy for products, including defining use cases, product positioning, and pricing. Experience with hardware products will be a plus
- Strong & structured problem solving skills in an ambiguous and unstructured environment
- Strong Product Sense and customer first thinking
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
- Very strong written communication and a collaborative approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with senior leaders

- Knowledge of the payments industry and relevant regulatory requirements is a plus.
