The Merchant Solutions NAP team of Worldpay will be Operating core-banking for one of the world’s largest payment processors requires diligence and experience designing and running highly available, highly scalable systems in production. Worldpay is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help join a new SRE function within giving you the chance to shape best practices as we migrate our core acquiring platform to a cloud based micro-services architecture. We work to develop solution to deal with fraud & dispute activities for acquiring business in Merchant domain. What you will be doing Responsibilities -Ability to communicate, document, share knowledge, and be example to the team. -Create high-performing, responsive RESTAPIs & flexible frameworks. -Write reusable code, libraries and create custom directives and components -Experience with unit testing tools like Junit, Jasmine -Good debugging skills. -Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability -Collaborate with team members and stakeholder. -Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity and concepts. -Analysis and debugging -Assist in successful deployment of code to infrastructure and validate endpoints. What you bring: Required Skillset: Java (8 or above) Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Microservice design principles. Experience in development and maintenance of SOAP and RESTful APIs AWS services – RDS, EC2, S3, Elastic Search, ECS, Docker. Experience with version control solutions, preferably Git/GitHub Experience with Junit, Jenkins, Maven, Linux/Unix etc.. Familiarity with relational databases and SQL Knowledge of object-oriented design and development. Strong problem-solving skills Preferred But not Mandatory Skillset: Kafka Kubernetes Terraform Application Performance Monitoring / Logging software. Educational Qualification … A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Added Bonus if you have: Knowledge of Worldpay products and services Knowledge of Payments services industry Products are advancing to latest cloud technologies & have an opportunity to learn & try their hand to be competitive in the market.
