As a Software Developer in the Data & AI team, you will contribute to the design, development and implementation towards the key data analytics product of IBM. Responsibilities will also include...Designing, coding, and unit testing future enhancements, Investigating and resolving function test, system test, and performance issues. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 10+ years experience in software development with strong exposure experience in design and architecture
- At least 8 years experience in Core Java Programming
- At least 5 years experience in Databases and SQL
- Good understanding of Operating System Concepts (serialization, concurrency, multi-threading).
- Good knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures.
- Experience with build automation tool, Gradle or similar.
- Experience with code management using Github or similar
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Jenkins for CI/CD.
- Scripting experience with Shell or Python
- Experience using Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems
- Experience using SQL and No-SQL Data bases
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in software development and programming in Core Java, Python and SQL.
- Experience in Gradle, Github, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Shell scripting will be a good add-on.
- Understanding of both Relational and Non-relational Database concepts.
- Debugging and problem analysis and solving skills.
- Passion for technology.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Self-reliant and highly collaborative.
