Requirements:
- 12+ years of overall experience in engineering with Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of recent management experience, managing more than one team during that time with 7+ team members
- 5+ years of individual contributor engineering experience engineering products with a modern tech stack, preferably Java, REST, Spring Framework, any relational DB, CI/CD in agile environment
- Demonstrated track record of building and managing high performing product engineering teams in a fast paced, high impact, high growth environment
- Passion for building and shipping products users love with high quality and speed
- Passion for career development. You don’t shy away from difficult performance conversations and you recognize the relationship between constructive feedback and career growth
- Enjoy staying technical and is able and willing jump in and code or debug issues to help your team
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills and can keep your team and yourself organized with effective prioritization, while juggling multiple projects and priorities

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate well with product, design, and other engineering teams to ship product
- Experience in the design of new systems or redesign of existing systems to meet business req’s, changing needs, or newer technology.
- Ability to break down complex concepts into easily understood frameworks and models.
- Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Preferred Skills:
- Experience or Knowledge in financial services
- Experience or Knowledge of one or more Front-End frameworks will be a strong plus.
- Experience or Knowledge with NoSQL Database like MongoDB will be a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion and convictions and the innate ability to inspire passion in others, and the ability to
- establish and sell the business and technical vision for a complicated problem area
