Our customers are manufacturers, regulators and operators within the Gambling industry. This is a fast-paced, dynamic position and an ideal fit for someone who thrives on wearing many hats to enhance organizational effectiveness while maintaining clear and accurate financial figures. Duties and responsibilities:
Project administration (will approx. be 50% of your time for this position)
Maintains a high level of productivity to meet targets set by the Manager
Works independently as a subject matter expert, providing advice to other team members, as needed
Troubleshoots and responds proactively to issues, analyzing data trends to address problems while they are manageable
Handles escalated project questions or issues
Tracks project milestones and provides accurate and timely status reports to leadership
Ensures timeliness of all work performed, reporting any possible delays or issues to the Department Supervisor or Manager
Conducts oneself in a professional manner, modeling behavior consistent with CORE values
May assist the Supervisor or Manager in creating and maintaining Departmental procedures
May act as a mentor for his/her team, setting clear performance standards
May monitor the workload of his/her team and discusses observations with the Supervisor or Manager, as needed
Product Certification
The Senior Engineer serves as a Technical Evaluator as listed on the Product Certification Organizational Chart
The Senior Engineer is also responsible for the following:
Carries out Field Inspection tasks in support of the inspection activities, upon request
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the GLI Standards and how they affect the testing procedures
Understands and applies mathematical analysis skills and maintains a working knowledge of GLI math tools
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of code review and compilation knowledge, including data code review of virtual reel strips, combination determination, associated pay mapping (entire code flow from RNG selection process through awarding outcome)
Maintains a knowledge at the EPROM level and explains this process to Test Engineer I II, and III's
Performs other duties as assigned
Required skills/Experience:
- Total 7+ years of experience with minimum 5+ years as a tester in Gaming Industry
- Senior Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education, training and expertise
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is required
- Must demonstrate familiarity with all GLI forms and processes related to the position
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required
- High level of initiative with the ability to motivate others is required
- Must have a strong ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position
- Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with internal and external parties
- Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
- Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness
- Must have demonstrated supervisory and decision-making skills
- Must have the ability to perform emulation on at least 3 platforms
