Job Purpose
The Senior Business Analyst is a member of the ADR Product Management team and is responsible for configurations and analysis reports for DDA products. The Senior Business Analyst possesses strong knowledge of documents used in mortgage transactions, data structures and data dictionaries, and applies that knowledge in his/her daily work.
Responsibilities
- Leads by example within the team by producing good quality, efficient, scalable and maintainable configurations with very few defects.
- Produces high quality release notes for ADR learnset releases.
- Optimizes and refactors configurations to improve performance and maintainability.
- Leads configuration reviews across the feature area, understands the root causes of issues, and finds ways to resolve them.
- Produce high quality analysis reports and recommends changes and improvements in the product:
- Analysis of Automated Document Recognition (ADR)
- Analysis of documents for increasing coverage of ADR.
- Analysis of data structures of third-party sources such as DDA's customers and partners.
- Identify opportunities for automation and performance improvements of existing data transformation techniques.
- Lead initiatives to transformation of data from third-party sources to DDA specified data formats.
- Acts as an expert on the team and helps other junior analysts.
Knowledge and Experience
- Prior experience as a business analyst for a Saas Product in the financial industry.
- Prior knowledge of US Mortgage industry and processes.
- Experience in analysis of data structures, transformation of data from one structure to another and testing data transformation techniques is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong familiarity and prior experience with Agile development methodology.
- Good communication skills; must read and write English fluently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, accuracy with numbers and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and meet frequent deadlines.
- Graduate without backlogs
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or equivalent.
Schedule
This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
