As a Senior Business Analyst, you are part of a team responsible for basic to complex Cloud ERP Integration testing and documentation. In this critical role, you will focus on supporting the global Logistics and Order Fulfillment team. To be successful, you will need to be extremely technical and organized; able to multi-task in a high-volume environment and manage projects; have strong communication skills; and be a motivated, self-starter.
Responsibilities
- The role requires expertise in Oracle Cloud tool stack of Order Management and Supply/Demand.
- Document and communicate/translate requirements to the Oracle team, other IT teams, and stakeholders as required.
- Understand Oracle Cloud functionality and processes to conduct fit/gap analysis and present functionality options to business and IT stakeholders.
- Complete mapping specifications for related deliverables working with Functional Business Analysts.
- Work with technical resources to communicate requirements, understand design options, present pros/cons, and determine level of effort to Functional Business Analysts and other stakeholders.
- Own functional specifications for system configuration, reports, integrations, and extensions.
- Work with Functional Business Analysts to validate test scripts and training documentation.
- Ensure changes and updates are fully documented and vetted in a pre-production environment for any new applications or changes within an application.
- Understand support requirements for new and existing functionality and provide knowledge transfer to support resources.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide direction on resolution to support team and other stakeholders.
- Analysis of solution impact to system performance, security and access, data and reporting, and downstream impacts (integrations, extensions).
- Provide training for Global Order fulfillment Team on new application features
- Interpret laws, rules and regulations regarding warehousing, shipping, import/export, WEEE and shipping batteries applicable to system.
- Develop logistics processes for new product/supply chain process requirements and assess business impact to minimize cost and complexity.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience
- Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree is required or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in US time zone..
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Cloud functionality is a must.
- Expertise with SAP ATP Integration with Oracle Cloud
- Knowledge and proficiency of Oracle Collect to Cash is a must
- Good communication skills, including technical writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to drive solutions to completion and build consensus across IT teams and with Functional Business Analysts.
- Ability to problem solve and work with appropriate methodologies (Agile, waterfall, etc.), prepare detailed requirements documents, test plans, and process documentation and capable of understanding and communicating functional specifications, user stories, and related documentation to IT teams.
- Drive solutions to leverage Oracle leading practices with minimal/no customizations.
- Experience in developing trusted relationships with business and IT resources, communicating details, and influencing others.
- Knowledge of proper requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, use case development, and process flow diagrams.
- Open minded and willingness to understand new technology and tools.
- Expertise in SQL
