Bangalore Development Centre of Paymentus is responsible in developing the premier solution for households to easily organize and manage their bills and documents securely all in one place, in the cloud. We aggregate the Account & eBill information retrieved from a Service Provider for a User. We support around 18000+ Providers in our system. Our retail web application (a free service) gained surprising notice from the banking industry and we are now tailoring our bill management solution to small and medium size banks and credit unions. We are also steadily supporting various Payment solutions for these eBills to our Users.

Responsibilities:
- Comprehend the complete suite of AWS services employed in our infrastructure.
- Establish AWS servers to ensure scalability and reliability in day-to-day operations.
- Manage multiple subnets for server clusters, optimizing network architecture.
- Administer VPC Security Groups to enhance network security and compliance.
- Utilize CloudWatch, CloudFront, and Cloudflare configurations for seamless operations.
- Employ continuous measures to optimize AWS billing through vigilant traffic monitoring.
- Take ownership of understanding and deploying updates across diverse servers.
- Develop and manage pipelines for diverse deployment scenarios.
- Strategize and execute backup plans for AWS servers to ensure data integrity.
- Establish alerts for proactive monitoring of server health, services, and disk usage.
- Implement and adhere to security measures aligned with company policies.
- Monitor server capacity, storage planning, and database performance on AWS.
- Provide insightful suggestions and improvements to our existing deployment model.
- Plan and implement robust processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover, leveraging comprehensive AWS knowledge.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software errors, meticulously documenting issues and resolutions.
- Spearhead the planning and execution of new IT infrastructure upgrades.
Qualifications - Are You a Match?
- Hold a Bachelors or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.
- Accumulate 6+ years of experience in AWS and related system administration activities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Linux/Unix administration with a solid background.
- Have prior exposure to the design of large-scale systems.
- Showcase the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
- Possess hands-on experience with virtualization technologies.
- Hold certifications in System Administration and IT, such as Linux or Microsoft (additional advantage).
- Exhibit a strong understanding of systems, networking software, hardware, and protocols.
- Have practical experience with scripting and automation tools in a professional setting.
