Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Study and understand the project requirements and inputs.- Prepare the statement of understanding as needed and communicate the same to customers.
- Provide engineering analysis support for verification of new design, field issue projects using FE techniques and tools
- Pre and post processing using Ansys work bench / Hypermesh
- Execute Static / Dynamic analysis using Ansys / Radioss solvers in an efficient way by ensuring quality output on time
- Prepare detailed analysis reports which includes results discussion and suggestion of solutions as needed
- Interact with customers on a regular basis as and when needed.
- Continuous improvement of the knowledge and skills by participating in discussions, knowledge sharing sessions, self-study and internal/external training
- Create the schedule and effort plan for the projects
- Develop new FE calculation process if necessary
- Make bench mark FE calculations
- Should be able to execute project independently and collaborate with technical managers and project leaders wherever necessary
Experience Requirements:
10+ year of experience in Finite element analysis of mechanical / mining products using Ansys WB-mechanical / Altair HM / Radioss
Educational requirements:
M.E. / M.Tech. In Mechanical Engineering from reputed institutions
Knowledge:
Good knowledge of Applied mechanics, Strength of materials and FE techniques- Mesh generation skills using tools like Ansys work bench / Hypermesh.
- Good knowledge of FE simulations using the tools like Ansys / Radioss
- Knowledge of Fatigue calculations.
- Knowledge in Heavy engineering domain is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of mining and construction equipment is an added advantage
Personality Requirement:
Good communication and analytical skills.- Self-start and goal orientation is a must requirement
- Attention to details and strong sense of responsibility
- Team player - open-minded and flexible
