Qualifications and Skills
- CA intermediate or similar qualification
- More than 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial management and reporting
- Strong knowledge of goods and services tax (GST), TDS, and income tax
- Experience with financial systems and software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Ensure proper recording and documentation of financial transactions
- Coordinate and oversee audit processes
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
