Job Overview
We are looking for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) professional to join our team at Submit Core. As a Junior SEO specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing our clients' websites to improve their organic search rankings. This is a full-time position based in Mohali, Punjab, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in SEO and possess a strong understanding of both on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Proven track record of improving organic search rankings
- Strong knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques
- Familiarity with keyword research tools and SEO analytics platforms
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in using SEO tools like SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and HTML/CSS is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities for organic traffic growth
- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and page copy
- Perform on-page SEO activities, such as URL structure optimization and internal linking
- Implement off-page SEO strategies, including link-building and influencer outreach
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and algorithm updates
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented
- Monitor and improve website loading speed and user experience
- Assist in the development and execution of content marketing initiatives
- Provide recommendations for website improvements based on SEO audits
