Description:
Position: SAP PTP Lead
As the SAP PTP (Procure-to-Pay) Lead, your mission is to oversee and optimize the Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order Management processes, Scheduling Agreement, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integration, Goods Receipt, Inventory Management, Invoicing, Subcontracting, and Workflows for approval. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between Ariba solution and S/4, driving efficiency, and delivering a world-class procurement experience for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end SAP PTP process, from requisition to payment, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, identify improvement areas, and implement best practices for PTP processes.
- Oversee the integration of Ariba solution with S/4, ensuring a smooth and cohesive procurement ecosystem.
- Streamline and enhance EDI processes to facilitate efficient data exchange with suppliers and other business partners.
- Manage Purchase Orders, Scheduling Agreements, Goods Receipt, Inventory, and Invoicing, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Handle Subcontracting activities and monitor their progress, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Implement and optimize workflows for approval to expedite decision-making and enhance efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support for SAP PTP-related issues, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to improve PTP processes.
Key Experience Required:
- Minimum 8-10 years of overall experience in SAP PTP domain with hands-on expertise in Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order Management, Scheduling Agreement, Goods Receipt, Inventory Management, Invoicing, Subcontracting, and Workflows for approval.
- Extensive experience in Ariba solution and its integration with S/4, ensuring a seamless procurement landscape.
- Strong understanding of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes, enabling smooth data exchange with external partners.
- Proficient in working with Signavio for process modeling and Tricentis for testing, driving quality and efficiency in SAP PTP implementations.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
Technical and Functional Competencies:
- SAP PTP (Procure-to-Pay) modules expertise, including MM (Materials Management) and Ariba.
- In-depth knowledge of Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order creation, processing, and approval workflows.
- Proficient in managing Goods Receipt, Inventory, Invoicing, and Subcontracting processes within SAP.
- Familiarity with EDI processes and integration to facilitate seamless data exchange with external partners.
- Experience with Signavio for process modeling and Tricentis for testing SAP applications.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance or a related field
- SAP Certification in Materials Management module (MM) is preferred
