The Role

As a Lead Specialist, for theSupport COE– Analytics & Automation, you are an essential part of the Products organization for Payroll and Cloud international. Your responsibilities involve designing, improving, and maintaining data analytics activities for all solutions within the Alight Worklife platform, collaborating closely with product managers. You will utilize your expertise in data analysis, data manipulation, text processing, feature extraction, and the fundamentals of machine learning using Python or R Studio. Your proficiency in Azure SQL and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and others will enable you to create visually compelling dashboards and reports that effectively communicate data-driven insights. Moreover, your adeptness in creating tools and templates using Microsoft Excel, VBA scripting, and PowerPoint presentation skills will be instrumental in providing actionable recommendations and driving business growth. Additionally, your ability to manage baseline standard documents, Paintbrush Presentation Design and provide ad hoc administrative support to the Products team adds further value to your role.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead the design of the Delivery operational dashboards and data analytics solutions for Products:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and support operational dashboards and data analytics solutions for Products.
• Ensure the effective utilization of data to drive insights and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Utilize Azure services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, and ML Studio, to streamline data processes and enhance analytics capabilities.
• Utilize Python or R Studio skills for tasks related to text analytics, prediction, and machine learning, ensuring advanced analysis techniques are applied effectively.

Lead the development of the latest industry analytics best practices for all types of data analysis:

• Stay updated with the latest industry analytics best practices and apply them to all types of Analysis.
• Continuously enhance analytics methodologies to improve accuracy and effectiveness.

Lead the development of Develop visually compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations:

• Create visually appealing dashboards, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate data-driven insights.
• Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI to present information in a clear and impactful manner.

Lead periodic quality reviews of the Dashboard content:

• Conduct regular quality reviews of the dashboard content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with assigned data owners to address any identified issues promptly.

Lead the design of Develop and maintain tools and templates:

• Create and maintain tools and templates using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ensure consistency and efficiency in document creation and reporting processes.

Collaborate with the Payroll / Calc team to simplify and standardize Excel workbooks

Develop Queries for Data Extraction:

• Create queries to extract data from Azure, SQL Server, and Oracle databases etc.
• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of data extraction processes.

Contribute to any project across the products organization when needed

Required Skills for this position:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics)
• Experience in writing SQL queries across various platforms such as Azure, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
• Proficiency in Python or R studio for text analysis, prediction, machine learning, etc.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc..
• Working Knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, and ML Studio.
• Choose an item. years of operational experience within the requested domain expertise
• Skilled in creating tools and templates using Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic scripting, and PowerPoint
• Superior language proficiency in English
• Systematic approach to problem solving with a desire to create a better future for our associates and clients (design thinking)
• Excellent written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills
• Strong analytics skills
