Job Description:
The position is accountable for handling and growing on-call and online individual hotel bookings and corporate and destination weddings sales opportunities for all properties. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion. Assists all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on retaining and building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES:-
Maintain and increase room/tent sales
  • While being based at our Pune Head Office, works collaboratively with our Mahabaleshwar front office team to ensure hotel booking sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, email sales, online travel agent(OTA) sales, occasional trade shows, walk-in meetings with clients etc.
  • Handle on-call and online hotel booking enquiries and convert bookings successfully.
  • Generate enquiries and business for MICE and destination weddings.
  • Provides accurate, complete and effective turnover to Event Management.
  • Generate timely and accurate sales receipts, and handover to the accounts department.

Managing and Analysing Sales Activities
  • Participates in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating quotations, customer correspondence, etc).
  • Accurate and timely management of online travel agent portals inventory, media and descriptions.
  • Understand our various properties, room types, amenities, venues for events and be able to sell them effectively. We are known for a large variety of room types and venues.
  • Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how
to sell against them.

Qualifications:
    A university degree
    Minimum 1-2 years experience in hotel sales
    OTAs and on-call bookings.
    Freshers or candidates with experience in other sales fields
