The RPA Test Analyst, 2 will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of Robotic Automations testing. The RPA Test Analyst, 2 role will be a member of the QA team and will work closely with a diverse group of cross-functional partners. Testing support falls under RPA platforms like UiPath. Essential Functions of the Job:
Provide support on one or more projects during the Quality and Test Solution phase of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Responsible for reviewing requirements, implementing the testing strategy and providing status reports and defect management.
The scope of this role includes but is not limited to:
High Importance or occurrence within this role
- Assists the QA Lead in one or more projects through the IT testing processes using requirements or risked-based testing
- Understands the requirements process and the role of a Test Analyst in the process
- Proficient in testing process, including test scope identification and test requirements, test case development, test scheduling, and defect management
- Consistently able to manage and own day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail
- Development of test scenarios and test scripts for end-to-end process
- Execute functional, integration and volume testing
- Execute smoke tests postproduction deployment
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and validation procedures using a traceability matrix to ensure adequate test coverage throughout the development lifecycle
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing, gather test case needs from partners during the Dev/QA cycle
Medium:
- Experience leveraging third-party applications to plan/execute/report testing efforts including but not limited to, Jira, Confluence, or other test management tools (e.g. Quality Center, TFS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with IT and Business audiences
- Work closely with BAs, development team and integrating teams on test creation and execution
- Set up and maintain testing metrics to show overall progress of testing efforts for each sprint, requirement coverage and opened/closed defects
- Report on progress of the overall test prep/execution to leadership
- Collaborate with QA analysts to flush out tests based off delivered requirements for integration, regression testing, and user acceptance facilitation
- Assist with the identification and escalation of any issues or risks within the testing work stream
- Support user acceptance tests and determine when test participants can proceed to final User Acceptance Testing
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
High need for this knowledge or skillset in this role:
- Strong coordination and organization skills
- Should be proficient in Tech stack for QA Automation: Ruby, Cucumber, Watir Webdriver, PageObject, Jenkins
- Favorable to have knowledge in RPA Development using UiPath
- Experience in SDLC (i.e. Software Delivery Process (SDP), Sustain, Maintain, Release to Production (SMRP), Accelerated SAP) is strongly desired
Medium:
- Ability to multitask
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Experience in working across multiple systems, technologies and integration scenarios
- Prefer knowledge in REST API and API Testing in Ruby
- Favorable to have knowledge in .NET Web Development
- IT application lifecycle and software quality assurance best practices and processes
Low:
- Experience with SharePoint is a plus
- General understanding of IP networking, HTTP/HTTPS protocols
- Hands-on experience with creation of automated test script is a plus
Additional Requirements of This Role:
- Work Hours:
- Participate in a shift pattern/on-call rotation providing covering 24 X 5 IST
- On Call and weekend coverage
- Flexibility in scheduling with a willingness to work extra non-standard hours
- Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet agreed deadlines, with demonstrable productivity
- Ability to work in culturally diverse and inclusive environments
- Required to work in a virtual environment
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an Information Technology / Information Services role
- Minimum 1 year of experience in UiPath Business Process Automation / Robotic Process Automation
- Understanding of IT solution design, development methodologies
- Strong analytics skills to understand the business process
- Must have experience with UiPath
Education:
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Fluent in English language, written and verbal
