Job Description:

• 5 to 9 years of experience in Performance Testing and exposure to different Performance Testing tools and frameworks
• Excellent skills in Performance Testing using JMeter (minimum 2+ years of experience in JMeter)
• Hands-on experience in developing scripts, designing test scenarios, test execution, monitoring, analyzing results, and reporting performance bottlenecks
• Ability to work independently on project performance testing with minimal supervision
• Good knowledge of 3-tier architecture, Application, and DB layer for a better understanding of the test environment
• Experience in Web, Web-services, and Middleware performance testing
• Proficient in effort estimations based on client/stakeholder requirements
• Experience in setting up performance test environments, performance testing strategy, Workload Model creation, etc.
• Expertise in analyzing system logs, performance test results, and application performance
• Good experience with monitoring tool Dynatrace AppMon or OneAgent
• Knowledge of Performance tuning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present and share information with technical experts of varying seniority within the organization
• Ability to take ownership of tasks, set standards, and drive delivery

Job Responsibilities:

• Interact with SMEs & Business to gather Performance Testing/Performance Engineering requirements
• Identify tools and techniques to improve testing quality and efficiency
• Develop performance test plans, test scripts, and conduct technical reviews
• Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability
• Plan, coordinate, and manage a project's overall Performance Testing approach, tool capabilities, and strategy
• Raise issues or concerns to stakeholders upfront and come up with mitigation plans if required
• Collect and analyze performance metrics (Client Side, Server Side, DB, Network, and Load Balancer) to identify bottlenecks and suggest corrective actions
• Design and create benchmark scenarios and prepare performance benchmark documents
• Prepare test summary reports for management review

Desired/Optional Skills:

• Knowledge/Experience in Test Automation
• Experience in the Banking/Financial sector, particularly in the card domain
