About the role :
Revenue Analyst is a Supervisory position reporting to Director of Revenue.
As the hotel is unable to obtain work permit, you must have authorization to work in India
What you will do:
Assist the Director of Revenue in revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day-to-day yield operations.
Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting. Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends. ·
Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel.
Provide a weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.
Assist in analyzing overall monthly hotel performance and provide a summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies.
Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional.
Ensure best practices are maintained but not limited to competitor analysis; environmental scanning; market modelling; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts Evaluate the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc…)
What you bring:
Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or an equivalent degree.
Detailed understanding of Reservations and Hotel revenue aspects.
Candidate must have excellent analytical skills and must fully comprehend the travel industry distribution landscape.
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate ideas in verbal and written presentations.
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
