Job Purpose
The Program Management will lead the integration of project planning with PD, Vendor Development, Product Strategy, Industrial Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Production, and Suppliers to meet and implement Royal Enfield’s Project Milestones as defined in the NPI process, as well as any VA/VE cost saving related projects/Engineering changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and take ownership of the project timeline and provide target dates to CFT team based on the timeframe
- Management of all Risk Project Items that will affect the Quality, Cost and Delivery of the Project. Understanding the Nature of Risk and assessing what would be needed for escalation and what would be managed within the Project Team.
- Creation of Budgets and then Tracking the Cost expenditure as agreed with RE Senior Management
- Track exclusive parts development status by coordinating with core project team members during the proving stages of the new product during the life cycle of the product
- Work with operations engineering and QA team for the clearance of vehicle for evaluation and booking, obtaining cost approvals from Dept. HOD's for cost increase / Customer quality ECR's Co-ordination for vehicle BOM updating with modified/ new part number with PD
- Coordinate with operations Plant PPC, engine / EV assembly, vehicle assembly, SQA, RQC, MSE, PD departments to make the new product vehicles.
- Support the Management of BoM creation and Parts delivery process
- Provide expertise in Integrated Project Development (Concurrent Engineering) and ensure timely launch of project by coordinating with cross functional team
- Support the release of Technical Specification ensuring transparency for all project members in particular to those functions who are Key Stakeholder, as well as identifying bottlenecks of project
- Manage the creation of the preliminary BOM’s and costing for the Project and support the submitting of bids along with feasibility concerns to customers in a timely manner
- Develop the APQP time plan against customer milestone and targets requirements using RE Project tool and distribute the project plan to CFT team
- Review and analyze the Program Development Process as often as in necessary to ensure the completion of scheduled activities such as All Key NPI Milestones, Proto build, SPC Study and PPAP Submission to launch the project punctually
- Support Sourcing to Identify critical suppliers and direct them to meet customer-specific requirements and testing requirements, and ensure that these Risks are monitored continuously
- Follow-up with customers for technical improvements required on Proto parts/ samples submitted and Kick-off improvement activities through CFT team upon the receipt of customer feedback on the proto
- Ensure that all Functions meet and adhere to the NPI process by conducting and applying the appropriate processes as defined by the NPI and managed by the correctly appointed Responsible person.
- Establish good working relationships with customers through personal and telephone contact, and engage in discussions to resolve any problems encountered

Education
Bachelor in Engineering / Bachelor in Technology
Experience
- 6+ years’ experience in in Project / Program management in the automotive industry
- (EV Projects Preferred) with Techno-Commercial knowledge
- Demonstrated experience handling various projects from the Automotive / ancillary industry
- Adept in working under complex and challenging environments with proven ability to represent the company with clients and strategic vendor partners
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills and good working knowledge in MS Project, MS Office, SAP & ERP Material Tracking system
Certification/Licensure/Professional Membership
- Member of PMI or Prince 2 (Practitioner) is desirable but not essential
