Position: Research Associate-Public health
Period: 18 months on project mode w.e.f 01 April 2023
Qualification:
- MD (SPM), MPH or Ph.D with 2-3 years of field experience and experience in operational research in Lep /TB//NTDs and other relevant areas.
Essential skills:
- Experience in Qualitative research methodology
- Proposal development
- Independent researcher with peer reviewed publications
- Write and review operational research proposals
- Training project staff as needed
- Experience in literature review and gap analysis
- Formulate research ideas based on primary and secondary data
- Inclination to work with diverse teams and to travel to field – atleast 30-40% travelling across India
Line manager and reporting: To the Head Research.
Duties and deliverables:
- Undertake supportive supervisory visits to the project site in TS, AP, Bihar and Odisha
- Facilitate Training of field staff
- Proposal writing and development.
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Monitor data collection and data management
- Facilitate Periodic review of the projects.
- Liaison with the Government and other stakeholders
- Periodic reporting to the line manager.
- Advocacy with the State Health authorities.
- And any other duties or organisational work as delegated by the supervisor
Remuneration: Gross Rs.53,000/- p.m
