We are currently seeking a Release Manager/Incident Manager to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
• Manage the release schedule and plan release windows across projects.
• Handle incident management and conduct RCA to ensure smooth releases.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of SQL to support database-related tasks.
• Be accountable for sending Weekly Status Reports (WSR) and conducting monthly reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the DevOps team, IT operations, and developers.
• Take ownership of release support activities and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Manage incidents, including resolution, escalation, and post-incident reviews.
• Lead and mentor a team of incident management professionals.
• Plan and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage in a 24/7 model.
• Possess sound knowledge of SQL and Python for troubleshooting and analysis.
• Conduct monthly business reviews and provide insights for improvement.
• Comfortably work in the Amer time zone.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years experienceProven experience in release management and incident management roles.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage people and resolve conflicts.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and scripting.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
• Prior experience in roaster planning and handling attitudinal issues is a plus.
