The Quality Manager has a unique role covering Manufacturing Quality Control
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the Quality Control Team for the site responsible for incoming, in process and final quality of the products manufactured at site.
- Working closely with the site leadership in driving quality improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the site in executing complex orders by participating in early engagement reviews and help the site to go through risk reviews and appropriate mitigation plans.
- Helping the site as needed in Transfer of Work (TOW) projects working across global sites.
- Mentoring and develop the young Quality Team members.
- Developing regular redesign of processes due to changing circumstances or management needs. Elaboration of process improvement are expected taking into consideration broader functional context.
- Effective communication with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives.
- Service unit providing services to the function or directly to the business.
- Handling work requiring analysis and interpretation. Procedures don't cover all the exceptions. Approaches for exceptions have to be developed.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Electronics / Instrumentaion / Electrical) from an accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of experience; out of which preferably 3 years in valve industry / QC role.
- Having thorough knowledge in relevant codes and standards related to control valves, NDT techniques, statistical process control and LEAN manufacturing concepts
- A good working knowledge in the field of control valves - mechanical design / accessories and control valve related instruments.
