Description
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive quality control system for footwear products sourced from different vendors.
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Collaborate with vendors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Laboratory Testing:
- Develop and execute testing protocols to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of footwear products.
- Coordinate with third-party laboratories for specialized testing when necessary.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.
BIS Compliance:
- Stay informed about the latest BIS regulations and standards relevant to the footwear industry.
- Ensure that all products comply with BIS standards and facilitate the necessary certifications.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and obtain necessary approvals for products.
Vendor Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with vendors to enhance communication and collaboration on quality-related matters.
- Provide guidance and support to vendors in implementing best practices for quality assurance.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control activities and testing procedures.
- Generate regular reports on product quality, testing outcomes, and compliance status.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the quality assurance and testing functions.
- Propose and implement changes to enhance overall product quality.
