Role Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure that all ready garments meet our high standards of quality before final delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for. meticulously inspecting every single piece of ready garments according to the order book specifications and ensuring that they adhere to all quality standards. Additionally, they will be tasked with identifying any errors or defects and coordinating with the appropriate departments to rectify them. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining excellence in our products.
Responsibilities:
Thoroughly inspect every single piece of ready garments to ensure they meet the specifications outlined in the order book.
Conduct quality checks on various aspects of the garments, including stitching, fabric quality, color consistency, sizing, labeling, and overall appearance.
Identify and document any defects, errors, or discrepancies found during the inspection process.
Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams to address and rectify any issues or deviations from quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including documentation of any corrective actions taken.
Ensure that all Quality Control processes and procedures are followed consistently to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements to enhance overall Quality Control procedures.
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in the workplace.
Assist in training and mentoring new Quality Control personnel as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Quality Control or inspection, preferably in the garment manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and quality standards.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot defects or discrepancies quickly.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with Quality Control tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping purposes.
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to [insert weight] pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in Quality Control is a plus.
