Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
Prepare Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans.
Willing to travel extensively in their territories of the region.
Have experience of Vendor visits & Inspection activity steps at vendor end.
Maintain & update vendor QA process audit system & schedule
Responsible for implementing the QA/QC management system at manufacturing facility and site.
Coordinate with quality inspections with all the vendors and fabrication contractors
Coordinate all non- destructive testing at manufacturing facility, vendors works and sites.
Coordinate all receipt inspections and distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to SCM Head/ Factory Manager/Project Manager
Coordinate with the customers representative on all quality matters.
Verify that the quality related activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
Participate in the internal and external audits, coordinate all the quality inspections through the site QC inspectors.
Ensure all Quality Control documentation is compiled and completed.
Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action.
Complete site Quality Control instructions and action remedial responses.
Monitor the implementation of the approved manufacturing QC Plan.
Coordinate with the manufacturing manager and Vendors for all quality issues.
Familiarity with ASME codes, IS standards, regulations and practices applicable to Water/Wastewater equipment manufacturing, and construction industry.
Develop vendor quality awareness and ensure that Quality Controls are performed during the vendor manufacturing process as per QCP.
Report problems or concerns to senior management immediately.
Preparation of QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions.
Identify process improvement opportunities and work with relevant stake holders to implement them via projects / initiatives
Should be familiar with Vendor Assessments & audits, Should be familiar with ISO 9001 audit process.
Conduct Vendor Process Audits to drive process standardization
Should have hands on experience in Preparation of Quality Assurance Plan, Check Sheet, SOP etc.
