- Ab Initio 3.5.x or 4.0.x frameworks – Acquire>It, DQA, Spec-To-Graph, Testing Framework
- Big Data – Cloudera or Hortonworks Hadoop, Hive, Yarn
- Databases - Oracle 11G/12C, Teradata, MongoDB, Snowflake, Cassandra
- Others – JIRA, Service Now, Linux 6/7/8, SQL Developer, AutoSys, and Microsoft Office
- Prepare detailed test plan, test scripts and test cases by understanding the business logic and user requirements.
- Expertise in Big Data/ Collibra/ Ab Initio/Informatica Testing.
- Analyze transformation rules, rating the complexities and preparing the estimations.
- Prepare and executing E2E, Integration, functional, smoke test cases. Writing SQL queries for data validation.
- Have working knowledge of HP ALM.
- Work with the development team to create a suite of test data (both input files and expected results) that fully exercises data validation.
- Improve specification and design documents through active review and feedback with developers.
- Integration of data across various sources in an ETL process, versioning, manual correction of tables, address correction.
- Monitor execution of workflows, preparing the root cause analysis report by analyzing the data and logs if any failure.
- Validate the business rules and data by using the testing techniques.
- Prepare the Requirement traceability matrix in Quality Center and sending to project manager. Responsible for updating the weekly reports.
- Involve the defect triage meetings to discuss on defect complexity and priorities.
