Join the development organization for Nasdaq Pre-trade risk platform and help us secure the quality the worlds markets have become accustomed to. The main objective for the development team in Bangalore is to secure that our clients have a stable, reliable and adaptable platform. As our new QA member, you will focus on securing a long-term test strategy (both manual an automatic) and implement it as well. In your role you will have both a local and international network of QA professionals to reach out to in order to help you get a running start.
The Pre-trade risk platform that you will work with is a, close to real-time, high-volume component in our platform that requires extreme performance where we count nanoseconds in our designs. The Pre-Trade risk is a vital component to secure robust and safe trading practices and in fact, secure the entire financial markets. We place very high demands on code-quality, and we expect you to do the same.
- Review functional business requirements and existing test plans.
- Write test reports that summarizes test activities and results
- Plan, coordinate, and test system conformance to agreed requirements.
- Build test effort estimates, test plans, test specifications and test reports.
- Implement automated tests and follow up of key metrics to make sure we deliver outstanding quality and focus our testing in the right areas.
- Work together with QA personnel for other product teams to plan and build the needed tests to make sure all products work together.
- Stay up to date on the latest trend in the QA
- Minimum of 3 years of detailed experience in Automated Testing on web-based applications.
- Experience in API Automation - Rest Assured.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Python.
- Experience in crafting and detailing tests scripts, test frameworks.
- Must have worked in agile teams using Scrum.
- Expertise working on Linux operating systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bachelors/Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in the trading domain or the financial markets.
- Experience from non-functional testing (such as performance testing, failover testing).
- Experience writing Python 3 programs.
- Experience with qTest.
- Experience writing Java programs.
