Qa Engineer

Develops test plans, coordinates test execution, and communicates results. Ensures software quality, defect tracking, and process improvement. Requires leadership, technical, and communication skills to deliver reliable software products. Responsibilities Responsible for the test planning, design, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive test plans/test cases to ensure deliverables meet business and functional requirements.Provide strong technical leadership in Quality Assurance segments in the Omnichannel applications (Web, Mobile, Wearable etc)Continuously improve the test processes (RCA, Correction and Prevention)Handle the test management - Effectiveness of test processes through White box, Grey box, Black box, automation etcProvide test estimations and tooling recommendations.Define end-to-end test strategy for the engagements and implement the same.Define and deliver test suites for highly scalable and critical business applications.Continuous focus and enablement on the automation quality assurance aspectsLead the build and automate end-to-end test scenariosConduct continuous research on the testing tools / frameworks and provide the tool adoption recommendationsOversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices and developing new tools & processes to ensure quality goals are met.Build a strong test automation teamDefine the quality standards and practices within the teamResponsible to completely Own the quality aspect of the engagement.Responsible to Lead and mentor QA team members Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited institution5+ years Proven Experience as a QA lead in a business-critical applicationsExperienced in handling test automation in web, mobile, tablets, wearable, cloud etcExpertise in test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, BrowserStack, Testim, Perfecto, Robotium, SeeTest, UI Automator etcExpertise in API testing using JUnit, Postman, SoapUIExperience in any one or more languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, Shell scripting etcGood knowledge and experience in testing life cycle, test phases such as unit, integration, system, functional, non-functional, regression testing etcHands-on experience designing test cases relevant to test phases and using test techniques relevant to the phasesExposure to Agile way of working .Experienced in test management using HP ALM / Zephyr / TestRail / Jira / etcStrong communication, presentation, and collaboration skillsAirline/Aviation Industry experienceDomain experience in over-the-top media services/retail/e-commerce.AI based test automation tools like ACCELQ, TestCraft, FunctionizeetcExpertise in Cucumber, security testing, performance testing
