Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic QA/Test Automation Developer to join our team for Watson Orchestrate, Cloud Pak for Business Automation. Have you heard about
Responsibilities
Design, develop and execute test cases-based requirements and user stories.
Create, maintain and enhance automated test suites to stay current with new product features.
Troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing, triage and root cause analysis and feedback to the Development team.
Identify automation opportunities in different workflow.
Define and prepare test data and test environments to support testing.
Ensure that our software components are developed and thoroughly tested following best practices and are ready for integration into IBM's best-of-breed solutions that help organizations improve their business outcomes in the global marketplace.
Ability to create & execute production like test scenarios.
Participate in Agile ceremonies i.e. sprint planning, estimation, etc.
Work with test management tools and defect management tools.
Participate in software development lifecycle, specifically test design, execution and debugging required to achieve successful implementation of integrated solutions within the product portfolio.
Perform web, API, UI, End to End integration testing within an Agile delivery model.Watson Orchestrate and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation? Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related discipline
- 1 + years of industry experience
- Very good programming skills (especially object oriented programming)
- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
- Growth mindset, innovative spirit
- Embrace new technologies and a thirst for knowledge
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Java, Python, Selenium, Javascript, REST, Json, Test automation frameworks, CI/CD, kubernetes, container, cloud technologies
