Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the development and maintenance of automated tests for software used by insurance market professionals and mentoring more junior automation engineers.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in the software industry with experience in software quality test automation
• 6+ years of professional software development experience with front-end and back-end applications
• Selenium WebDriver, Postman, Bitbucket, Visual Studio code editor, NodeJS, JMeter, Android Studio, UNIX 
  Languages:
  JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, HTML, Xcode, CypressIO
  Database Knowledge:
  •    Basic SQL knowledge
  •    Basic of NoSQL
  Knowledge plus:
  •    Azure Devops
  •    JQuery
  •    AWS
  •    Docker container
  •    Groovy
  •    Appium

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science and 6 years hands on automation experience or relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance techniques and best practices.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., automated, exploratory, performance, version control, deployment, nightly automation runs).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Ability to learn and adapt to continuously changing technology.
• Knowledge of operating systems, development tools and approaches, task tracking tools, and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge and experience in testing non-GUI applications, manipulating flat files, XML, JSON
• Knowledge in performance testing using tools such as JMeter.
• Knowledge and experience in testing custom integrations
• Experience testing mobile devices, such as Android and IOs
• Exceptional knowledge and experience with automation tools and development Experience with HTML, CSS, C#, Jmeter, JavaScript, Selenium, Xcode, Android Studio, CypressIO, API Testing, Swagger, Bitbucket, Postman.
