Job Purpose:

The key purpose of this role is to support Pharmacovigilance Operations Project Delivery and Vendor Relations.

To support the team with day to day project coordination activities, including but not limited to:

  • Apply structured Project Management methods within a delivery framework, managing the end-to-end process and ensuring delivery of project
  • Coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results
  • Managing specific business and stakeholder relationships
  • Communicate with Manager and above, ensuring KPI is met for the Projects and can mitigate risks early and escalate risks to Department Head and above
  • Coordinate with multiple Internal and External Stakeholders and Teams to deliver results in a rapidly changing environment
  • Recognise, communicate and mitigate risks to Project Delivery
  • Ensure all high quality, pertinent and accurate reports are delivered with respect to the project
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress not limited to scheduling meetings, agenda preparation and distribution and meeting minute preparation and distribution. Provide relevant, clear, and concise verbal and written reports of the meeting to stakeholders.
  • Maintenance of Project Delivery documents, tools and systems, as required (e.g. risk log, timelines in MS Project)
  • Monitoring the Vendor Relations shared mailbox, which involves triaging incoming data and ensuring emails are distributed to appropriate subject matter experts for action and follow-up, as appropriate
  • Communicating on a regular basis to the team, as necessary
  • The ability to build and develop business relationships at all levels
  • Attending meetings, as required by the team

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ability to make sound business decisions and have a well thought out operational plan to deliver positive business results
  • Communicate verbally and in writing to answer inquiries and provide information
  • Solid/excellent technical writing skills
  • Solid/excellent computer skills and computer literacy (Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel etc.)
  • Maintain good documentation practice
  • Demonstrate GSK values

Education Requirements

Bachelor/Master degree (scientific or medically related field is preferred) with a minimum of 7-10 years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry in clinical development, pharmacovigilance and information management or equivalent work experience.

  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in the pharmaceutical/CRO industry in clinical development, pharmacovigilance and information management or equivalent work experience.
  • Can communicate effectively in local language and English.
