Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team at DCS Group. As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in purchase management.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in purchase management or a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including identifying suppliers, evaluating quotations, and negotiating contracts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor stock levels and track orders to ensure optimum inventory levels are maintained.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate their reliability, quality, and pricing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement strategies align with business goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and vendor contracts.
• Evaluate and analyze supplier performance based on key metrics, such as delivery time, quality, and cost.
• Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
• Implement cost-saving measures and efficient procurement practices to achieve expenditure control.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
