Project Manager - Infrastructure/Road & Water Sector
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS
Level: Manager /Senior Manager, experience in Road & Water Sector
This role would be a part of Group Executive Office responsible for project management & operations for Infrastructure business by ensuring coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and scope
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Strengthen the project management and review system for Projects in the Road & Water Sector from a cost, time and quality perspective
2. Monitor delivery of projects to time, cost and quality and ensuring highest standards of Health & Safety are achieved
3. Coordinate with the internal operating team including project heads for monitoring and timely issue identification and governance
4. Risk identification & mitigation measures
5. Maintaining project communication and documentation. Prepare Management Review Meetings Presentations
6. Travelling to project sites periodically to ensure smooth operations & safety and quality compliances as per code, specifications & standards
7. Active interface with key stakeholder which will include all internal departments, external consultants and contractors
8. Periodic review and analysis of MIS
9. Work on independent assignments on need basis
Pre-Requisites:
- Engineering (Civil) + MBA with 5 + years of experience working with infrastructure / PMC companies
- Technical understanding in the road and Water Sector is essential
- Inter-disciplinary exposure in large scale projects from initiation to handing over for operation. Strong Planning & Monitoring exposure is required
- Skilled strategist understanding business requirements, managing through priorities of inter- discipline teams and converting plans into desirable results with control on resources and budget.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Good people management skills as the role requires interface with the senior members of the operating team
