We are currently in search of a Production Merchandiser to join our team based out of Mumbai. Our focus is on crafting high-end, ethnic fashion for women across the Islamic world.
Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the garment industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of fabrics and design. Experience in various aspects such as sampling, creating design tech packs, working on costing, and production planning is crucial. The selected individual will play a key role in maintaining relationships with our multiple vendors and overseeing on-site teams to ensure timely deliveries of orders.

Candidate should be familiar with various printing techniques such as
screen printing ,
digital printing
and
rotary printingCandidate should be familiar with
handwork, machine
and
computer embroidery techniquesShould be able to prepare a costing plan that is within the client's target costMaintaining Time & Action PlanPreparing Production Tech Packs - Detailing the styles, material requirements, swatches, quantities as have been approved by the buyerDocumenting approval of PP samplesWork with the procurement team to assist with the sourcing of fabrics and trimsPlan production with our factory partners
QualificationsStrong coordination skills5-7 years of experience as a merchandiserBachelor's degree in Merchandising, Production, Textiles or ApparelDemonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional roleStrong project management skillsProficient in ERP systems such as NavisionProficient in MS Office SuiteExperience in the fashion industry and knowledge of global markets is a plus
