Position Overview:
As a Powder CoatingProduction Engineer at SAPL, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of our Powder Coating production processes. Leveraging your expertise in Powder Coating operations, you will lead initiatives to optimize production, enhance quality control measures, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning and Scheduling:
– Develop comprehensive production plans and schedules to meet customer orders and delivery timelines.
– Collaborate closely with the production team to coordinate workflow and resource allocation.
– Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to optimize efficiency and meet targets.
2. Process Optimization:
– Conduct thorough analysis of Powder Coating processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
– Implement innovative solutions to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
– Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance productivity.
3. Quality Control Management:
– Establish robust quality control procedures to ensure the consistency and integrity of Powder Coating finishes.
– Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify compliance with specifications and industry standards.
– Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
4. Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
– Oversee the maintenance and calibration of Powder Coating equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
– Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions or breakdowns, coordinating repairs and minimizing production disruptions.
– Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during equipment operation and maintenance activities.
5. Team Leadership and Training:
– Provide leadership and guidance to production personnel involved in Powder Coating operations.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
– Proven experience (3-5 years) in Powder Coating production or process engineering roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
– Strong knowledge of Powder Coating processes, equipment, and materials.
– Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
