About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing global procurement strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving efficiency in the procurement process.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and implement global procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align procurement activities accordingly.
3. Lead the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
4. Identify and capitalize on process improvement & cost-saving opportunities through strategic initiatives.
5. Monitor and report on key procurement metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
6. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities support overall business objectives.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
2. Proven experience in global procurement management, preferably in a multinational organization.
3. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
4. In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supply chain management.
5. Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions to optimize procurement processes.
6. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
7. Familiarity with relevant procurement software and tools.
8. Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or CPM are desirable
