Procurement & Order Management - Air Freight

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and secure competitive Air Freight rates for PAN India across various trade lanes.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key Air Freight carriers and General Sales Agents (GSAs).
• Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to optimize procurement strategies.
• Manage coverage for all major trade lanes, ensuring availability and flexibility.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through volume discounts and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to ensure smooth freight movement.
• Resolve operational issues and disputes with airlines and GSAs promptly and effectively.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to Air Freight procurement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in procurement, Order Management, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with transportation and logistics operations.
• Leadership experience and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
