As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Procurement Manager to join our team.

Position Overview :

As a Senior Project Procurement Manager at Burns & McDonnell, your role will be pivotal in the successful execution of work share projects between our consultancy firm and our US parent company. With your extensive 15-18 years of experience, you will lead the procurement and supply chain management efforts on project to ensure seamless integration between the two entities, adhering to the highest standards of efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Work Share Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the US parent company to facilitate the work share process and align procurement strategies and practices for joint projects.

Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to work share projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, cost efficiency, and risk management, while also complying with relevant regulations.

Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and subcontractors, fostering strong relationships with vendors on a global scale and negotiating advantageous terms and contracts.

Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or project timelines.

Supply Chain Optimization: Streamline supply chain processes for international collaboration, minimizing lead times and ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of procurement professionals, guiding them in best practices and fostering their development.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured materials and services meet global quality standards and project specifications.

Contract Management: Support US counerpart on negotiation, administration, and management of contracts, including change orders and claims resolution, while addressing international legal and regulatory requirements.

Compliance: Stay updated on international industry regulations and standards, ensuring that procurement activities adhere to legal and ethical guidelines in various locations.

Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance to senior management and project stakeholders in both entities.

Key Deliverables:

Project Procurment Plan

Develop,Maintain and Issue Procurement Status & Material Status Report

Update and Maintain Master Approved Manufacturer List(AML) & Project specific AML

Prepare Request For Quotations (RFQs) and evaluate responses

Support US counterpart to Negotiate with suppliers on all matters relating to terms and conditions, improved pricing of quotes received and delivery options that may be more economical and timely

Tabulate Commercial Bid Evaluation

Coordinate on contractual, commercial, taxation, insurance, HSES and legal issues with relevant internal stakeholders.

Resolve technical queries with collabaration with relevant stake holders

Raise/Revise Purchase Orders (POs) and resolve queries as require.Maintain Purchase reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Proven experience as a Project Procurement Manager in the EPC consultancy field, with a minimum of 15-18 years of relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain management practices in the EPC industry for work share projects.

Exceptional negotiation and communication skills for international collaboration.

Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

Leadership and team management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including our US parent company.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
