Address The individual in this role plays a vital part in ensuring the effectiveness, stability, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, with a specific focus on both existing and new products throughout their life cycle.
Principal accountabilities -
- Accountable for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing site's responsibilities within plant Process Engineering, with a specific focus on successful scale-up activities for a defined product. This involves careful planning, collaboration with various teams, adherence to quality and regulatory standards, and ongoing optimization efforts.
- Ensure a safe working environment and personally commit to and deliver Environmental, Health & Safety performance within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Works in conjunction with other cross functional team to ensure consistent standards & processes applied to Process Engineering within plants.
- Maintaining BOM, Scada Recipes and Technology transfer documents for the new products coming through NPI.
- Accountable for the technical data analysis for the plant related with different type of products running in plant.
- Closely working with plant NPI towards successfully delivery of the new programs.
- Responsible for actively engagement with Process development team for the new technology coming to plant leading to new product transfer scale up and equivalency.
- Accountable for Production support (troubleshooting) as and when required for the defined products.
- Lead PFMEA for the defined products in portfolio.
- Responsible for technical input during risk assessment Risk assessment for Manufacturing feasibility assessment.
Key experience/ skills -
- Bachelor’s in chemical engineering or related field with min 3 to 8 year of experience.
- Proven experience in process optimization, scale up and technology transfer.
- Basic understanding of SAP.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Good communications skills along with safety and environmental knowledge.
