Veritas Customer Success is responsible for ensuring that Veritas’ customers are successfully exceeding the value of their investment in Veritas solutions and coordinating the company focus on the end-to-end customer relationship. Customer Success includes customer support and care, professional and business critical services, and renewal sales.


The Princ Project Management Specialist collaborates with customers, partners, vendors, and different teams at Veritas in support of specific projects and is responsible for overall project management and timely delivery of engagements. The individual provides regular updates on assigned projects and tasks, coordinates efforts, escalates issues, engages others to overcome obstacles, and oversees the delivery of services to meet or exceed customer requirements. The Princ Project Management Specialist will partner with the Consulting Delivery teams and Operations to drive the timely and on-budget delivery of projects and programs.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain an understanding of all contractual obligations, responsibilities, terms, conditions, and scope to ensure that all projects remain in compliance.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of all process, procedures, and tools used to manage projects and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with global teams for project management activities such as scheduling, planning, managing tasks, backlog analysis and governance.
  • Monitor Project Progress, coordinate with relevant resources, execute projects with focus on deadlines and Stakeholder Satisfaction
  • Ensuring that project is delivered in alignment within scope, meeting financials objectives, adhering to compliance and timelines.  
  • Provide regular and timely updates and create presentations to ensure Business leaders have a holistic view while operations teams have a detail updated at any given time.
  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
  • Managing stakeholder communication, setting correct expectation, communicating project risks and opportunities and support in resolving complex issues and escalations.
  • Liaising and building relationship with Sales, Support, and product teams.
  • Identify ways to streamline operations and look for process improvement opportunities that enhance productivity and help achieve business goals.
  • Organize PM tasks, tools, documentation and ensure status notes are updated.
  • Manage financial queries on the projects.
  • Performance Evaluation of the Project

Desired Skills:


  • Prior experience in a role related to Project Management in consulting services, customer support, and/or customer success within the high tech or software industries.
  • Adept with Project Management methodologies, process, tools, and life cycle from strategy through completion.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects, including but not limited to planning and tracking daily updates and escalation management.
  • Proven track record of building relationships and working closely with cross functional teams, such as Support, Engineering, Sales, Professional Services, and Product Management.
  • Competence to evaluating strategies, improvement opportunities, strategic initiatives, and drive innovation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, leverage problem-solving skills and able to complete assignments efficiently, effectively and on time.
  • Ability to use data and accurately derive trends, understand issues, identify risks and present potential solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Having PMP/ PRINCE II and/or ITIL Certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and prior experience using Salesforce, Confluence, Jira is desirable.
  • Experience working in a diverse, global environment.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to achieve goals and exceed expectations while working remotely with a geographically dispersed team.
