Purpose of the role :
The primary role of the Presales Consultant is to serve as a technical expert liaison who translates customer needs into actionable solutions, paving way for smooth conversions and long-term client relationships, leverage deep understanding of the company's products and services, and to educate prospective clients, on how our offerings perfectly address their unique challenges and generate value.
Role Description
Sales Preparation, Customer Facing
- Support sales team in opportunities pursuits defining the best products for the solution architecture.
- Co-operate with the sales force in promoting the product range on IoT (ThingWorx or other), PLM (Windchill or other), EAM(Hexagon, Maximo or other), to customers with presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, performance tests and/or similar activities.
- Creating architecture for proposed solution and later handing over to the implementation/delivery team.
- Proactively facilitate and/or provide product-based training to sales force, Partners, and Ecosystem.
- Update customers on new products and technology as related to customer's industry and application needs.
- Share insights with regional and global peers.
- Communicate with the customer technical team if needed to understand the customer environment and present well-tailored outcome-based solutions, present qualitative and quantitative value of the proposed solutions.
Marketing, Product Launches, Enablement & General Activities
- Support marketing team, when appropriate to ensure their capability in articulating the value and demonstration of product or technologies
- Analyse competitive product lines, have knowledge of competitor's strategy, further define competitive differentiators.
- Assist Business Lead in launch of new products & Commercial Programs to the sales force and channel.
- Provide product gap and development feedback to appropriate business unit.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, Webinars and/or similar marketing activities.
- Interface with Tech Support on post sales product issues when required.
Requirements :
- Strong sales consulting and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Ability to provide consulting services related to IoT and EAM
- Demonstrated experience in delivering customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 13 years Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
